IT'S AS EASY AS 1,2,3:

  1. Create an original recipe using a minimum of three Utah's Own products. Clearly list all Utah's Own products. If you purchase anything from a Utah's Own Farm, please clearly identify the Farms name.
  2. Submit your recipe online.
  3. Bring your prepared dish to one of our judging locations listed above.


PRIZES:

1st Place: 7 night Caribbean Cruise for two – dates TBD – based on availability on an inside cabin. Includes roundtrip airfare for 2 from SLC. Grand Prize also includes $300 visa gift card, $300 ARS gift card and a Weber Genesis Grill from Gygi and 2 cooking classes from Gygi. Approximate prize value $4110

2nd Place: 2 night stay from Hotel Monaco in SLC. One Le Creuset French Oven Pot 7 ¼ qt from Gygi, four cooking classes from Gygi and a $200 ARS gift card. Approximate prize value $1490.

3rd Place: 1 night stay from Hotel Monaco in SLC. One Actifry Fryer from Gygi, 2 cooking classes from Gygi and $100 ARS gift card. Approximate prize value $860.

Weekly Prizes: $100 for 1st place, $75 for 2nd place, $50 for 3rd place.



CONTEST INFORMATION:

Registration for each event starts at 11am day of event and ends at 11:45 am day of event. Judging starts promptly at NOON, no exceptions. There will be 3 judges trying your dish.

Bring three copies of submitted original recipe. You must be able to clearly identify ALL Utahs Own Products. If you purchase them from a Farmer you MUST know what Utah's Own Farm they came from.

If recipe has perishable items, i.e. dairy, meat, eggs, contestant must supply means of keeping the dish at appropriate/safe temperature. You will be serving 3 judges. Judging is based on Taste, Appearance and Presentation, Originality/Creativity, Best Use of Utah's Own Products (Cleary Identify Utah's Own Products and where they were purchased).

Finale will be held at the Utah State Fair on September 16th from 11a-1pm. For other contest rules please see rules and regulations.

JUDGING IS BASED ON FLAVOR, PRESENTATION , RECIPE/DIFFICULTY, BONUS FOR USING MORE THAN 3 UTAH.
